<\/p>\nI live in a world where if you’re not perfect, you are to be shamed, bullied, ridiculed, beaten down…because you don’t fit the Perfect Mould. If you are not perfect , then you don’t fit the mould!<\/p>\n

Can you imagine who the leader of the Perfect People is? I can’t begin to imagine the Perfect People, I don’t think I have ever seen one, come to think of it neither has anyone I know.<\/p>\n
They would be the most beautiful, gracious, wise, spiritual, kind, loving knowledgeable people on the planet. Now seems to me, that this person or group of people, would be well known, have their own TV shows, talk-back radio shows, been splattered across our morning breakfast show’s, but maybe I have been terribly unlucky in my fifty years on this earth, and just not known when I have been in the company of a Perfect Person. Whoops I mean Unicorn\u2026<\/p>\n
Now I am fat, I am obese<\/a>. I am certainly not one of these Beautiful Unicorns. Do I like being fat, do I like being obese, of course I don’t. Nobody wants to be different in this world, they<\/em> won’t let you. They have to bring you down as if you’re a threat to their perfectionism.<\/p>\n Hang on a minute…now aren’t they Perfect in every way? Doesn’t that mean they would never need to boost their own self esteem by robbing someone else of theirs? Surely that would never happen!<\/p>\n But here I am, with less than a perfect body, but I tell you what I do have that’s perfect, my beautiful brain!<\/p>\n Now I have been called every name in the ‘Fat Dictionary’. In fact if I thought about it I could probably write my own dictionary as I have been called names that don’t exist in any dictionary!<\/p>\n Here are some<\/em> of the names I have been called: Beached whale, bovine, chunky, dumpy, lard ass, hefty, thunder thighs, Bertha, minger, bingo wings, and cankles…and that doesn’t even touch the sides! Haha, full pun intended.<\/p>\n Then there are the sayings, ‘You haven’t lost your puppy fat’ or ‘You’ve been eating in a good paddock’ or ‘You big girls have such lovely faces!’ \ud83d\ude1b I’m surprised they even know I have a face as they are so fixated on my weight.<\/p>\n Now if you have read my previous articles on my weight, sexual abuse<\/a> and other atrocities I have endured<\/a>, you will know that although my body carries the physical scars and mental illness scars from the cruelty of others…but my beautiful brain, has kept me alive.<\/p>\n My brain has protected me from terrible physical and emotional turmoil. Granted I don’t say that my brain has always behaved spot on, at times it causes me to turn on myself! However, in the battle of ‘good vs evil’, my brain would have to be the most beautiful part of my body.<\/p>\n I would think just like me, overweight people, have some challenges in their life. Not to say that perfect people don’t have challenges in their lives too. However we all are different and we don’t all have the same coping skills as each other.<\/p>\n
